Computer Repair Services

I offer some general computer repair services for the Southern area of California. I am able to fix the following types of problems:

  • Viruses
  • Operating System Errors
  • Program Configuration
  • Hardware Installation Errors
  • I can also generally troubleshoot lesser problems. I can additionally improve the performance of a computer by reducing the number of programs it has running (many of these programs are loaded at startup, then never used.) I can basically secure any computer that has a Windows-based system; I have some experience in Linux but it is not much, and of course I can sort of work on a DOS computer, but not too much. I am also able to program in PHP, MySQL, and generate HTML with CSS. (This page is a bit bland, but it shall probably become more colorful as I have time to improve it.

If you are interested, email me at metal_man88@metalman88.com. I do not provide any other information directly on the web for security reasons. Please note that the general going rate for any computer repair is $30 an hour, although it may be subject to change, based on whatever contract is used. All jobs will involve written contracts; prior to doing anything I charge for, I will generally do a free diagnosis first, so we can properly discuss what is to be done.

Of course, I'm available for general work too, just simply email me if you're curious. And now I'll list some information relevant to any computer repair work I do.

All work is to be agreed upon in the contract; this is to also include the maximum amount of hours you want me to work on it (if there is a limit), the cost per hour, and what exact tasks I am to do. I cannot guaruntee success because of the very dynamic nature of the work, however for the hours I am employed I will do my best to resolve the problem(s) encountered. The person signing the contract accepts that I am not liable for any accidental data loss or other related incidental damage during the repair process; the reason being that a computer can break down at any time, regardless of whether one is working on it, and additionally some data may be deleted in order to remove viruses, bugs, etc; which may also have seemed to be okay beforehand, but really weren't. Backing up data is suggested before any repairs involving viruses are done.

Backup can be done by me, but it will naturally be another charge... additionally transportation may have to be provided, as I do not posess much in the way of transportation.
